Some other pros would be weather, globally sought after, growing infrastructure across the state to accomodate high speed rail, space industry, we have several major airports, growing tech/medical industries as well as the ever growing theme park monsters that help to bring in about 70 million people a year here, we stay pretty purple with politics and very alternative lifestyle friendly, schools overall aren't great, but we do have some very good ones including prep schools/acadamy's. landlord friendly and so much more too!

Speaking of internet forums and kittens, the most vicious thread I ever watched devolve was on a political forum when somebody posted something to the effect of...I HATE irresponsible pet owners that allow their cats to go outside and kill all the little birdies'...To which some else replied YOU EVIL MONSTER cats are almost wild animals and its cruel to keep them locked indoors for life...But back on topic...

There is a large difference in my profitability especially in the last 3 years in retail vs a multinational chain like Starbucks who has monster profit margins per sale on a private label product that they brand.

When we build our housing subdivisions we cant put all 30 houses in separate LLCs  we have one.... but what we do have is we pay 30k for a 10 year 1 million dollar liability policy so if we get sued we have the first million in legal fees for someone to go through before they get to our regular policy and then there is our general business umbrella for another monsters amount that is very cheap and you don't need to do anything but pay the fees annually..
