It's a mobile home on a private lot.

If you want them to do anything mechanical interview them well you will be amazed how little they can know about house maintenance.

There is ample opportunity for wealth mobility in our country.  

I was about 5 days from closing on my first place (an up/down duplex + cottage)...when the lenders (a typical residential / investment lender) said he would not fund the transaction...because the appraisal came back saying that it was a "raised mobile home" - and they don't fund mobile homes.It wasn't obvious that this was a mobile home by sight - apparently it was just the foundation of the mobile home that was used and then was re-finished (new siding, new roof, etc).  

I am currently attending college for Mechanical Engineering and feel as though real estate is a good fit for my schedule.

I am curious about investing in mobile/manufactured homes as rentals.

I see so many 55+ mobile or prefab homes for sale in the area.

In the past I have worked various jobs from warehouse jobs, to teacher’s assistant in a high school, to even a mechanic apprentice.

Simple, charming, friendly for kids, dogs, mobility impaired.

Hi @Lewis C.Larger multifamily buildings are a far cry away from SFR, and as you might expect, the due diligence is much more involved.For starters, all mechanicals in the building need to be evaluated intensely.
