I agree with Scott assuming it’s a traditional purchase where the goal is long term ownership and the knowledge base isn’t creative financing. 

Other than that, just keep networking here with other investors as that will help you grow your knowledge and narrow down areas of interest for investing.John

There is no good investments, or bad investments.You as an investor need to decide what investing strategy works for you, define your criteria, understand if your criteria is possible in the market you are looking in, understand the risks/rewards of your critera, and then execute the purchase.While some agents are heavily knowledgeable about investments, most have zero clue.

To say USA problems are smaller then everywhere else, simply declares ones exceptionally limited scope of worldly travel, knowledge and experience. 

I just finished their taxes with their CPA and I can say from first hand knowledge that real estate is the most effective way for immigrants to obtain the American dream.My parents immigrated to California in their 20's from Asia with no money, and could not speak English.

There are some basics that I think most people would assume are common knowledge, and therefore not rise to needing called out.
