There are many people on here and other places like meetup that you can gain experience in flipping with little or no money for the education portion.

You will have great opportunities to get some education & network with other local investors.

Online videos on social media platforms, educating your clients about nuances in private lending, coming on a popular blog to help people with financing issues, and connecting with others in your industry that specialize in something else. 

The earlier you start the more time you have to increase your education, experience, net worth, and portfolio.

Michael Plaks has created several great resources here on BP to educate about these, as does ReSure on its education platform (including some plagiarization of Michael's content!)

I have begun reading books and articles  trying to educate myself before I start this journey.

I've seen @Bruce Woodruff comment on many contractor related questions, maybe he can point you in the right direction of where you can find good education on the costs of rehabbing!
