Alternatively, while listing properties, I've encountered buyers attempting to use the commission as leverage by offering less and saying if their offer is accepted it's more favorable to us since we'd make more commission.Rule of thumb, at my office, will always be as an agent representing any party, you to do what's in the best interest of your client, not your pocket. 

I have encountered multiple relators who bad mouth owners who fsbo, making it seem as they are doing so because they are trying to hide something or are money hungry.

I would appreciate any opinions on this situation from a qualified professional or someone who has encountered a similar situation.

Generally if you buy the best properties you can, I don't mean the most expensive,  and choose the best possible tenants via your screening process, you won't encounter problems
