I'm really keen to buy "The Book on Estimating Rehab Costs" but I'm just wondering if it would be helpful to someone based in New Zealand?

We have heard nothing but great things about the area and really keen to check it out.

However unless you have a completed home HML are usually not to keen to jump into a construction mess..

Sellers seem to be keen on shorter DD periods and if I can get these reports in 2 weeks more or less that would be a home run.

However, the permit intake technicians are pretty keen to spotting valuations that are on the extremes, say a 1,500 sf addition valued at $15k.

Since then I have read many books, articles, videos etc. and am very, very keen to procure more information about the subject.

anyone have any suggestions for contractors in the Keene New Hampshire area?

This, more than anything, will be a test for education purposes and will further my understanding of specifics that investors are keen to in looking for these properties, a skill that I have to develop.

That's not even counting any specialized education/etc (IE I'm an electrical engineer etc) - point being, someone with a reasonably keen mind and can use a tape measure, stay busy, and use various saws, is a carpenter.
