We currently have the 2nd highest foreclosure rate in the nation and uncertainty with changes in the casino market.  

The local govt has a history of corruption & overspending.Last time I was down the Hilton Coronado had shut down its casino.

@Derek Daun LoL, I was stationed in Las Vegas for 5 years and I always compare insurance to gambling casinos....you give them your money and they never have to give you anything in return.  

I am a professional poker player in LA and had some connections through Hollywood Park Casino (The site of the new LA Rams and the large development) that gave me inclination to invest there.

Priscilla i like the downtown area especially since it has a casino.

The downtown area near the casino, falls is located in one of the most scenic areas in US, but almost a ghetto.

I personally was out there gathering information and documents regarding raw Oceanfront property (with permits in place for Hotel Casino and Resort), Acreage for agriculture development (Puerto Rico is blessed with very Fertile Soil), some shopping centers in urban areas and 2 private islands that a broker wants me to help him market here in the States.

Blackstone Group, a multinational private equity investment firm owns more than 10,000 homes here in Las Vegas as well as many of the Hilton Hotels, Cosmopolitan, and in contract to buy the SLS Hotel and Casino.
