It also creates some urgency on their part because a better applicant could come along and end up getting the place. 

That way, hopefully, people would overlap and potential tenants might feel an increased urgency to sign a lease.I'd be wary of allowing my tenants to call for repair people at their discretion.  

I would create a much better description of value of the property and create some urgency... end of month rent special, let us show how much we love our tenants, get a free $50 gas card if your accepted Free flat TV when you move in....Hope this helps

There are already more than 1m applications submitted so there is some urgency needed as the grant funds could possibly be dried up already. 

Also, just as an add on to what others have been saying, we usually cluster appointments not only bc of creating urgency and competition, but as a bit of safety aspect. 

Unless the mortgage has a high interest rate, i don’t see any urgency in paying down the mortgage when you can save up an emergency fund and then deploy that capital elsewhere.
