I've been listening to the bigger pockets podcast for approx 3 years now, and was finally able to pull the trigger and finance my first multifamily property.

I am a new investor out of San Francisco Bay area and after 90 days of BP Forum and Podcast, I have decided to reach out to Norada last month and I was able to get a phone consultation in 6 or 7 days after booking via their website, Next they connected with me with one finance company that was unsuccessful to fund my investment.

After buying my first real estate property (the story is in Bigger Pockets Podcast #82) I first house hacked getting one or two roommates to pay my mortgage, then I rented the whole house to long term tenants.

I’ve been reading just book after book after book about REI and listening to 2-3 Rookie Real Estate podcasts every day for the past 3 months, but haven’t taken action.

The only point I would maybe add is that in this type of environment only big box landlords and property owners can competeOn the first interview on the BP podcast with Grant Cardone, he specifically said he wants to invest in Blue states because of all the above mentioned items you listed....but that's Grant Cardone he can afford to take on the extra burden that comes with crushing regulation.

I still remember a podcast by @Ashley Hamilton that was absolutely incredible about her experience in Detroit.
