Now it’s time for the fun part - I’m ready to start interviewing with Chicago area real estate brokerages.

And start interviewing agents as well.  

Work with agents the same way you’d interview a job applicant and ensure you’re not locked into a 6 month exclusive before you know how they work and whether that works for you.

For example, I extensively interview my potential mentees well before I would ever commit to mentoring them or taking them on as a client.

If they are a viable candidate after the showing, interview and references, I have them do a background check on Cozy.

You should be able to put a list together and you can then start calling and start your interview/vetting process.A couple different ways to go about it. 

Interview your agent and check there experience and credentials .

Also I would interview a couple lenders and find which one gives you the best impression.

Interview contractors, walk a couple of their projects (preferrably something in progress and something completed), walk a couple leads with them and ask them a ballpark price so you can get an idea of their pricing.

And I’m currently going through the interview process with Plymouth so that’s why I said that.
