The best thing is to keep calling; harassing gently; write letters; find their home phone number etc.; contact BBB; Bad reviews on Angies list; Yelp; Google reviews; just try to be a pain in the butt; call TV stations to see if they take your story etc. 

Maybe a gentle nudge from you like "I sure would have appreciated a quicker response on the question last week....hope we can step up the communications here...."

I bought an entire house of gently used Tommy Bahama furniture, rugs, large fake plants, and framed prints.  

There are many legal and honorable ways to do this without twisting and redefining a legal title because someone charged you a lot of money to bequeath it to you.

So settle for the compromise that works best for you.I also have cash and other investments so if my properties were to be completely wiped out by some strange twist of fate, I would still survive; but it would not be nearly as much fun!

California real estate has performed exceptionally well over the last several decades and, despite the hanky twisting you see now and again, there is no reason to believe the situation will change appreciably in the relatively near future.
