I'm happy with the pace for which I've been able to accumulate properties at this time.There's a large demand for SFR rentals as many people just get sick and tired of neighbors surrounding them side-to-side top-to-bottom.  

Instead we will just accumulate it all rental profits for 3-5 years until we can pull out to invest in more real estate.  

Hi I have a rental property in Nor Cal that I purchased in 2009, since then it has been accumulating equity.

I'm a senior in high school and my main goal in this community is to learn as much as possible about investing in real estate so that I can make a strong, early start on my way to accumulating riches!

Hi LuAnn, when you say basis are you referring to the depreciable basis of each property and tracking the accumulated depreciation?  

(our least favorite option and we don't have a lot of cash right now)It was great that we were able to purchase our first property and it is going well but we really want to accumulate more properties and after you spend most of your cash to get the first one it is proving difficult to get a second one.
