You know the construction business very well.It is wise to know the real estate business just as well - ALL segments, including law.A good way to get a broad education is to attend real estate classes as if you were going to get a real estate license.From what you stated, you work in more than one state.

There weren't.That tells me that there will certainly be a segment of buyer who thinks this is a problem, but in general, it shouldn't keep you from selling the property, especially if there are other characteristics that make it attractive.Of course, that's just a sample size of one, so I could be wrong... :-)

It's something that crossed my mind before but I think getting familiar with Brandon's story through the podcast and first couple chapters of the book has helped me see that A) as a strategy forming well defined partnerships using separate entities is a great way to segment our business and B) I don't need a AAAA business rating to legitimately be investable-just a successful track record (we've almost doubled money in 6 months already) a straightforward workable plan and high caliber deals.
