Logan, a tip, not sure what you mean by "like minded" but if you hang around those that think like you, that are also new, you won't learn anything, you'll probably end up with some real misconceptions.

A common misconception about our model is that we take a portion of the profits from the homeowner.

I think the common misconception is that hard money will give you a 100% loan, and if you are new to the game that is pretty much never going to happen. 

A lot of people have this misconception that they are ahead of the game by buying the property outright in cash. 

Just don't have misconceptions that wholesaling is 'easy' money.Quality wholesalers have the most skills of anybody.  

As far as the refinance is concerned, there seems to be a misconception in the threads as to whether or not banks are going to require a seasoning period before refinancing and if so, how long that period generally is.  

A lot of people have this misconception that you buy a property, fix it up, sell it and BAM your rich.
