I’m having a hard time finding information on the financing piece of how house hackers build their real estate portfolio – is this plan generally sound?

The British have a saying, 'How long is a piece of string?"

But the distinction is that single source funding is what is illegal and that transactional funding is legal. 

Been thinking about this question a lot as I work with many real estate investors and I plan to be one myself. Let the fun begin!
