So, is one of the potential consequences that I would need to convert the legal description to conform?

I bet if you look at the settlement paperwork from the purchase, there's 4 legal descriptions, 4 APNs, etc, and you actually got a blanked mortgage secured by all 4.

This regulation generally calls for a specific description of the relinquished property in writing, signed by the taxpayer, and properly transmitted to the other parties to the exchange.e.

So we do have to have a job description or an investment criteria to decide where one fits.  

My main concern for not renting them separately, and only mentioning that they could rent together is that if I have a group of 10 people and I search on Airbnb, once I input 10 adults in my filters, the listings with 3 or 2 bedrooms that have the capacity of 8 people will not even show up, and I couldn't even know that place can be rented together from the description.
