There is that worry that I wont be able to invest in the near future, but I am willing to compromise that to be happier until I can again.  

I compromised on the car I wanted and got something I could easily afford.

As a buyer the price point is great for the neighborhood and I could see compromising on the lack of space in the bathroom.

But don't give up, have patience, and don't compromise on the numbers. 

There seems to be some sort of compromise with all of them in one way or another. 

You say you enjoy/used to enjoy it, so I would consider first giving it a legitimate 1 on 1 with the manager, being real with him, seeing if there could be some compromise and work things out.

I imagine there are several solutions that can provide a happy compromise so if anybody can shed some light, any advice will be greatly appreciated.   

If you are in a rental market that has demand you shouldn’t need to compromise your minimum screening criteria.

In my experience, most of these BEC scams result from someone in the transactions computer having been compromised and the fraudsters laying back and watching the email traffic and choose the best time to send out the phony email at just the right time to the party holding the money be it the title agent, the buyer, the lender or one of the attorneys involved.
