I took my parents there in 1992 and we rented a large upstairs bedroom with two queen beds, lots of space, and a private bath for $15 a night!

Great area, desirable school district, short commute to Queens and Manhattan.

I am considering buying an apartment at the Acropolis, Queens, NY, a 600+ apartment complex in Astoria.

Hi @Elizabeth Escobar, I am an investor-friendly agent here in the greater Seattle area.

Even though I am not a home flipper per se, but as a first time home buyer, I am looking for a single family home in Brooklyn or Queens that can use lot of cosmetic upgrades, live in it myself for a few years, before selling it.

I have a client who converted a 2 car garage to a bunk room with 4x Queen bunk beds....he sleeps 16 kids in that room (with ample living space in the house as well), and he is crushing it! 

Working full time and part time to continue saving up money for now but as it is I am willing to be a homebuyer using one of the methods above, here in Oakland (I live in the Saint Elizabeth area) or anywhere else in the East Bay.
