Don't carry a gun unless you plan on using it, but it doesn't hurt to keep one in your vehicle. 

Any reason you couldn't pull closer to 60K back out on the refi with a traditional 20 or 25% down loan, or do you already know what your refi vehicle will be?

You can still deduct car loan interest provided you deduct only that portion related to business use of the vehicle.
