Powder in spring on an empty hill is like winning the lottery!

My money is that at least one of those letters was mailed by someone who has bought a scratch-off lottery ticket in the last year or, like 60% of Americans, is carrying debt on a usurious credit card from month to month.

Look at how many lottery winners lose all their money, and how many sports figures end up broke, after earning millions.  

I don’t know that I would do anything all that different if I won the lottery, I enjoy what I do.As I said, maybe I would be a tad less involved with day to day operations.

I was going to suggest playing the lottery as your first step, since you are light years away based on your starting point. 

Real estate is not a lottery ticket.

They treat their purchase more like a lottery ticket.

What separates the wealthy from the non-wealthy, other than luck (lottery, inheritance), is proper focus and good financial decisions. 

From what I am gauging the deep suburban and small town landlords and agents who overnight hit the lottery because of a natural calamity are now shaking in their boots and losing sleep because they can see there might be an end to the pandemic and people are making plans to move back to larger cities.

People want to believe they'll win the lottery in one form or another.
