I am debating between short term and long term rental, would prefer to AirBNB but worried the timing might not be great.

There was a lady that wanted to rent my buddy's 2 bedroom pool cabin, but was debating going with the 5 bedroom pool cabin because they slashed their prices down to $200/nt.  

The property also had a fire that burned down an entire building so selling wasn't an option during legal issue debates.

Quick answer to that question that I've been debating, do a cash-out refi of the existing property, especially since we have equity and should easily be able to get $100-150k out and rates are at a historical low point.
