Understandably I don’t have all your financial info and my point is there are so many “advantages” in REI that you can find the silver lining in any approach.

However, there is an old proverb that says a lover of silver will not be satisfied with silver itself.

It's highly unlikely that your tenants will happen to own gold or silver coins, foreign currency, or cryptocurrency that they can pay you with.

If there were an easy "silver bullet" everyone would be doing this.

I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you but look at the silver lining, he is gone and didn't draw it out longer.
