Hi,I already found one pearson who is french here.

i had to have the exterior basement wall dug out, sealed on the outside with a membrane, and new french drains set up.  

I don't think mold is an issue.as far as the drainage system goes we put in what is like a French drain.

If you are below grade you can install a French drain with gravel in it or you can get a condensate pump to pump it out.

I'm actually "new" since I've lived here less than a year now, not counting a previous Navy tour long ago :)  I've only owned one previous rehab to rental which went well. 

Navy Federal has a 0-down loan option although interest rate is higher.
