I was using erentpayment which I thought worked fine, but since it takes 3 days to process the transaction, my tenant could never seem to time it right, i.e. they usually got paid on the 1st, which would make their payment show up on the 3rd or 4th, unless of course the first was a thursday which would make the payment late by the time I got it, which would usually be the 5th.We wound up going back to me picking up money orders from them, which is fine with me as I only have the one tenant.I was wondering if anyone has tried Venmo?

So, obviously, it's something that had been there for years and we all just kept putting on a bandaid, instead of healing the wound. 

I know this is a lot, but this is my first deal and I'm wound up about it.  

unless there is a personal gurantee .. collecting from those that have no money is pretty tough.the cost to get to judgement and then collect usually out weight any thing you will get out of a dead beat borrower.... been there done that a few hundred times over 40 years.get control move on.. lick your wounds.

I just remolded a house in palm beach Florida for a friend, the walls had the original wall paper from the early 90's on every wall including the bathroom ceilings, well let me tell you, I wish I had just slapped 1/4 on the walls, we wound up skim coating the entire house. not fun Best of luck

delay in closings happen all the freaking time, don't let it get you wound up.

If they don't have the ability to keep them, pumping money into those deals is a band-aid-on-a-bullet-wound approach.

Its already begun, they barely beat a severely wounded Buckeye team in their own backyard.

I wound up buying both.
