We have some work to do to get it ready for rent and need some help finding good contractors.We would like to remove the popcorn ceiling and skim coat the 80s texture off the walls, so we need a good drywall contractor. 

Or did they need to snake all the way to the city main with a jet or power snake?

Jeans have a little bit texture to them and when standing in front of an open drawer we often rub the bottom edge with our legs.

They are too thin (shower pan liner thin) for what I am thinking.I also attempted to find a piece of those Kohler choreograph panel you mentioned so I can see/touch it to get a feel of the texture, finish etc...surprise to find that no one seems to have it in stock to look at, not even a small sample of it.In the mean time, I found that they stock 2'x4' marine grade polymer sheets in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" thicknesses.

Full disclaimer I think you should drop it, this wreaks a bit of emotional connection, if you don't have the money right now then cool your jets and wait for the next deal.
