Have a good safety net, setup a good budget and follow it religiously.

I've had buyers walk away from a decent deal because there were high voltage lines a couple of hundred yards away.As a Ham Radio operator, I have other reasons for disliking them - mostly due to the potential for radio frequency interference (RFI), but my personal belief is that the who "cancer cluster" thing is just paranoid BS.Still, you need to factor that in to your budget. 

As a former banker, we were always a tad hesitant in lending to religious organizations. 

Contrary to popular belief, this is not set because I believe it will give me a higher return.

Some investors choose to slow down and stick with their own funds, others choose to work with investors & partners to continue to scale.Those who choose to stick with just their own money fall into two camps: 1) those who decidedly do not want partners or investors, and 2) those who are hesitant, afraid, or have limiting beliefs about partners & investors.

It is my belief and in my experience that the homeowners in my rental duplex neighborhood appreciate the good care I take of my property and that my tenants respect their neighbors.

Geez, this thread is going nowhere.It's like trying to have a rational discussion with a religious zealot who, in desperation in unsuccessfully trying to persuade you to their thinking, screams, 'It's a fact, and it's in the bible, so look it up!'

It was profitable, but not enough for myself.I don’t know if the arbitrage model “opponents” on the forum are actually all that negative on the concept itself, or are negative on the fact that people asking the questions having just seen the videos are naive and belief that with little knowledge, experience, capital and business management ability they can easily earn a ton of money.  

It is very common to dislike something you fear, or those who disagree with your beliefs and do it strongly.
