Yes, prices are high, but there is good potential for appreciation, and tenants are generally reliable and high quality. 

It may sound nice to pay a 6% management fee but the extra fees can add up to be more than the other company that charges 10% with no additional fees.

Yes, our property management company handles STR, MTR, and LTR units.

I haven't spoken with anyone yet, looking to see what companies will do the DSCR loan. 

I have not had that happen, but natural gas is a lot more reliable than power. 

I own an HOA management company in Hoboken and it's led me down this thinking-path as well.

I will note though that lots of people manage multiple rentals without hiring a STR management company (myself included).
