at some point massive saturation in a market like Texas had to happen.. and I think one other thing.. is this prediction that mellenials don't want to own they prefer renting..is not coming to pass as predicted..

You don't have your location public so all anyone can give you is generalities.1) Education (real estate specific classes, number of hours will vary)2) Sponsorship (required everywhere I know of, you have to find a broker who will let you hang your license under them, they will charge a flat fee or take a portion of your commission)3) State Exam (pass a comprehensive exam that test your knowledge based on your education)

If you pass the licensing exam and pass all the licensing requirements (for example, you have to "pass" a background check), you then receive your license and are eligible to work as an agent under a broker.

If you google it, most real estate education is geared toward those individuals who are trying to pass a licensing test to become a real estate agent, or property manager, etc,  in any of the 50 states.... or are geared toward the continuing education requirements for that license. 

I doubt he will pass a background check.
