(Mass Govt should be giving experienced landlords (5 years operating with at least one unit at profit as a buy and hold) zero down loans to house these people (in areas they currently live in--so they can stay close to friends and family), and free money to fix up the Brockton type area homes to modern standards inside. 

This is hurting the local landlord as they have to compete with those incentives.

What rights do I have as the owner/landlord to move this along if they are in fact not out by EOD? 

They are now month to month, but with what happened there is no way I can ask them to leave.Sometimes landlording is hard! 

**"Cash for keys" is a strategy that landlords can use to encourage a tenant to vacate a property without having to go through a formal eviction process.

These areas still have a great rental demand and not overbuilt.Areas like Northern Liberties, fishtown, point breeze have a lot of options, but also a lot of struggling landlords as there is a great number of new construction high rises creating a lot of supply in the nearby market.

But as I focus exclusively on representing landlords in their interactions with Housing Authorities, my perspective has shifted significantly.

A standard Landlord/Apartment policy will not allow the building to be owner occupied, especially if the title is no your personal name.

Also, research the landlord and tenant laws/ordinances.
