I for example don't like Vail as IMHO its essentially a glorified truck stop, sterile, with none of the old cowboy charm of a place like Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Aspen or Telluride. 

She started a second truck to double our service business (still legally 100% my business), is getting a graphic design degree to freelance as a side hustle, and is 100% on board with my RE goals (albeit she doesn't nerd out on BP Like I do).

If you take what a lot of people on BP think is a good metric: cash-flow $100/month then a single visit during the year (plane, rental car, food, hotel, etc.) will wipe out your cash-flow. 

Just food for thought.

When our regular flooring/tile guy was in a motorcycle accident and spent a month in a rehab facility, we visited him a few times and brought in foods he was craving.... hamburgers and pizza!

Amazing food.

I get a kick out of some of the adds, they want you to have all your own tools and equipment, truck, IPhone, insurance, contractors license and knowledge but unwilling to pay a fair wage.   

Next thing you know, it's time to renew their license but money is tight because they just bought a new truck, had another baby, took a trip to Cabo . . . fill in the blank.I don't see it as a chicken-or-egg question.

A truck bed coating like "Raptor Liner" would likely also deaden the noise transfer.

I think the Perdiem is more like 59 a day but the establishment has a food and supply thing they do and offer to fill your cabinets for the 59 of course they take a cut also.
