I can personally recommend the Baton Rouge group The RING, soon to be BRREIA.

I'm currently investing in the BR market and I network/do business regularly there with investors I've met through "The RING/Baton Rouge REIA."

If you have any tips as to where to look and find a good deal for an owner occupier, I'm all ears!

I was hoping for a second (third fourth etc) set of eyes and ears to bounce it off.

I think its a great idea as well, if you have proper boundaries set with tenants.Also, if you see them over there hauling out trash, offer to help carry stuff or use your tree lawn.I would put the 'bug' in there ear sooner than later though, otherwise they'll make other plans.

I have been using EFax for years now, i would get rid of it, but its kinda necessary in WI for a Broker to have one. there has to be a better way, generally when some one says Fax, i look at them funny and say Ring Ring, 1990 is calling on the land line.
