Anxious to get started in Texas!

Hi,

I am currently in Slidell, Louisiana but will be relocating to the Tyler, TX area in the next few months. I plan to get my real estate license and work closely with my cousin who is a local realtor in the Tyler/Longview area. I would like to get into wholesaling property and eventually into flipping, buy/hold, etc. I will probably move into investing in other areas of Texas as well as other hot areas like Tampa. I frequently visit the Tampa area and know it's a hot market for wholesaling. Portland and Seattle are also on my list.  Being self employed with as a network marketer allows me the freedom to pursue another form of income as well as the flexibility to be in any market.
