Forgot to mention in the fine print of their disclaimers that you sign it will usually say if a discrepancy exists then the total damages will be the return of the inspection fee.

One of the reasons for the cost discrepancy is that the owner/investor for that project also has their contractors license and has no need to hire a builder to pull permits and manage the project.

I'm just curious to know, with so much of the construction phase being performed off-site for prefabs as opposed to stick-built properties, why there remains to be such a large discrepancy in new construction cost among locations?

You would then share a copy of the estoppels with the Vendor and work through any discrepancies between the estoppels and the information supplied by the Vendor.You would go through a similar exercise with any service/supply contracts for the property (i.e. snow removal, janitorial services, HVAC, leased laundry units, etc.).

The renovation costs are according to the seller so that may be where the discrepancy is.
