With an amendment you do not have to negotiate language that has been acceptable for the past 5-10 years and can just concentrate on the terms that need to be changed.Of course, you need to be familiar with the existing lease terms so you can make sure you make changes to the proper sections.

I agree in large part that there will be a dip in the market when foreclosures begin selling, but in certain high-income areas I imagine this won't be as strong of a dip due to a lower concentration of foreclosures.

I think you need to write down your goals....it seems to me you know what you want as a long term goal....but concentrate on short term goals and follow through.
