I spent my teenage years at the other end of the Valley.Things here in the Maritimes - Halifax aside - are not seeing the ascend in prices that central Canada and the left coast have experienced.    

I learned to be a man as a teenager through books.

Once, one lady rescued a litter of abandoned puppies and they grew into teenagers at our house. 

I have 2 teenaged grandsons that I would like to teach how to work with their hands and use this opportunity to help teach them life lessons.

Another tenant, neighbor and also a receiver of government subsidy, I am told has handed her keys 6 months ago to some partying teenagers who have holed up inside.  

Oh well, once my own teenagers move out in a couple years the wife and I might be doing just that for awhile.   

My guess is teenage boys trying to be gangsters...However, my tenant was very concerned and started thinking about moving, so I had to come up with a better plan.

My Dad helped me with car loans back when I was a teenager - paid him back.

My teenage son wants to invest in stocks.

Even better.Some of us older investors (I'm 33, so not old, but old enough to bridge the gap between those who had an IBM 386 when they were teenagers, and those who were watching Blues Clues on Youtube) need to realize John's generation has way too much information, way too much stimuli, and have never seen cash money before.
