Regarding property B, I ask for some follow-up to determine what the repairs would entail because USREEB maintained that there was not any damage.A week later, I get a termination notice regarding property C because the underwriter suspects that there may be asbestos in the siding and Shelter will not insure homes with any asbestos.

Don't be afraid to price shop and to check out the quality of the different companies.For your first mailing I'd do it in house and track your response rates and then compare it to outsourcing - which entails having a full service shop process the list for you and do the print/pack/ship.One thing I picked up, you're whittling down your list.

If you want a bid that is skin and bones, expect changes, if we feel like you as a client don't know what you're doing, or will likely change your mind and don't want to pay it, I for one will give a healthy bid to cover my unforeseen expenses and I don't want to deal with the headache of a change order, throw in the cushion and pray that it will be enough to absorb client's needs, especially if they don't know what entails a change.
