When my former employer decided I didn't need to work there anymore it was a very depressing and scary couple of days figuring out what was going to happen.I decided if I was ever going to go full time and make it work it was then or never.Now I would rank that as maybe the 4th best day of my life (Wedding day, and birth of daughters 1 and 2 still ahead).Look at it as the kick in the pants to get super serious about things!

His son just opened the same theme restaurant 20 miles away & is doing very well even though it's in an out of the way location.

I'd say any national insurance company would entertain insuring thousands of properties, but forming an association for the sole purpose of buying insurance is a no-no in states so you'll need a mission, like promoting investor education or some-such.I'm sure you can get vacation package discounts, theme park and show tickets, cell phone plans.....an endless list I'm sure when you have thousands of members. :)

Just saw this from the Fall 2011 DRE Fall Bulletin regarding a short sale flip with a double close:In the current short sale market, there is a new twist on an old theme when it comes to flipping properties and generating cash for the perpetrators, who oftentimes are committing fraud on lending institutions.

I am not sure if that is where you got your idea, but there is a guy in Downtown Austin who has been wildly successful undertaking a similar strategy that has attracted typical travelers in addition to large corporate groups and wedding parties (I believe he has a few Airstream on his property).With that being said, that individual has been successful running the operation on his own because he also live in Austin.I am concerned about your plan because it is so far away from you.
