In a vacation resort area, do the values ever make sense?

I'm not quite sure what you are talking about.Hopefully I can explain this further....This project is a 4 star resort that is fully operational (think condo-hotel).

The building and the rental pool will be managed and operated by Lancaster Hotels & Resorts which is a affiliate company of the Owner/developer Pacific Concord Properties, Inc., If the unit owner opts to enroll a unit in the "Rental Pool" there are no upfront or any kind of "Management Fees" payable whatsoever.

Only benefit I ever saw in it was the ablity to bank the week and exchange it for one at another resort.

In Bend Oregon, which is a ski resort town, you can get a 3 bedroom, 2 bath in a middle class neighborhood, on a small lot.

According to the Biloxi website there are numerous contracts in the works for several large casino resorts in the area as well as large high end, high rise, beachfront condo complexes.
