No need to define family, bring up discrimination possibilities.LLs need to understand in all states that a lease conveys all the rights of the owner's rights of possession, not just limited rights under certain conditions.

As long as you sure that you have a sound deal and have the ability to convey how great this deal is, then I am certain someone in one of those groups will themselves or know someone who will gladly partner with you!

Since Texas is a Deed of Trust state, the property is conveyed to the buyer subject to a note and DOT to you.

I'd ask the agent for clarification, maybe they explained the fee in an odd way that convoluted what they were attempting to convey.

I don't care what you call it, if it's an obligation the buyer is expected to assume, then they are conveying real estate with clouded title.
