Finding an Investor/Partner for my First Deal

Hello,

This is my very first post. After months of searching and learning, I have finally come across a great multi-family rental unit deal. I am in the process of completing my commercial loan paperwork, and my question is: Where do I find investors for the down payment if friends and family are not an option? Ideally looking for a 50/50 partner where I manage and they source the upfront funds. Any info you can share will be very helpful, thank you! (In the meantime, I have been searching the forums for this info as well and haven't quite found it just yet.)

Hi Margaret, welcome to BP!

Very exciting that you have found a property! Have you looked into DSCR loans? This type of loan is a non-traditional loan and it looks at your FICO score as well as your property cash flow. It does not require tax returns, or verification of income, and does not consider DTI. Would love to discuss this further!
