The chief obstacle to equity split deals is (granted, in my limited experience) that folks who are used to getting paid for their time often jump at the chance but have a hard time deferring financial benefits until closing.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on buy and hold investing in Syracuse.

Problem #1: Too many Chiefs My client was an investor who found a credit partner in another state to fund his deal.

They claim to be a landlord's association but their chief mode of operation appears to be a website and forums (which often have quite a hostile atmosphere).

We are going to use a buy and hold strategy investing in sub 50K properties in stable "C" neighborhoods in my home town where I happen to be the Chief of Police.

Syracuse also seems to be getting good press at the moment so I might stop in there on the drive back to Canada.
