what about no telling the bank you have option contract from the seller. tell them you are handling their shortsale and you have authorization (make sure you get proper authorization from the seller and send it to the bank) then find yourself a buyer and sell it above the negotiated price from lender then do a simultaneous closing. you get the difference!

Doing a double closing has nothing to do with any investor strategy other than it is a closing process that can be used to accomplish simultaneous closings, which is not illegal.

I've also found that the listings start out with one realtor for six months....they the #1 REO Realtor moves in for the kill, because they are the #1 REO Realtor.....they get the listing and simultaneously put it up on auction with REDC.
