I too anticipated we might see more flight to SFRs as people would be more comfortable with that situation in these circumstances, intriguing that this is not playing out and may point to people's presumptions that this will all be over soon.

It is an interesting time... within that article there is also mentioning of video showings- something that could further obviate the need for am "on the ground" presence if you have maintenance avenues covered.It seems my market continues to absorb the flight from Brooklyn, NYC and other urban areas... so that is a nice plus.

Its clear this is creating a flight to the suburbs and even rural areas by high end renters who are searching for more space and lower rents or making the decision to just buy themselves.Currently, its clear there is no reason to make compromises in living space any more just to be nearby the office and reduce your commute time, when many offices are closed and may never reopen.
