There are a few big employers: DoE Sandia Labs, Kirkland Air Force Base (mostly the military contractors on base), Intel, and the University of New Mexico.87112 - The richest, nicest area of town.

They were there about ten years while I owned the place and I was damned sorry to see them go.Are you sure they weren't drug dealers or running a lab?

Mold or smoke/residue damage from an unreported fire/meth lab etc..

@Matt HegedusI'm no expert, but unless you or somebody you know wants to get into the meth lab/flop house business, steer clear of these places.  

To make a long story short, I'm going to try an experiment that would need community lab-rats, -er, I mean, helpers! 

In New Jersey, NJDOE keep tracks for each oil tank and some of the labs automatically update state database for every testing gets done. 

In RI, the rules have been made stricter and only lab tested dust wipes collected by Lead Techs or Inspector are approved to show the job site is clear.
