After going through all the replies to this post, it seems to be a recurring pattern that people start here to achieve financial independence only to learn that RE investing offers such a plethora of ways to make a living that can appeal to all types of personalities (introverted, extroverted, narcissistic, obsessive-compulsive *haha) and in the end they find they would prefer to continue down the RE path.I wouldn't say so much that people here on BP get 'stuck in the cycle' as much as people here on BP end up discovering something about RE that they are truly passionate about - it's a beautiful thing!

So to fill the form 424, should we just add a statement in the "Alter" part saying "Update manager name from xxx to xxx"?

They might tell you that you can afford $XXX without paying down more debt or they might tell you it is smarter to pay off your credit card, car loan, etc.  

I thought of creating a master lease with guaranteed rent and I would cover maintenance up to $XXX, leaving the Landlord responsible for major items like roof, heating, etc.

Is that worth $xxx to you?

I can offer you xxx,xxx thousand paid back within 1-30 years, at x.xx percent interest and Ill put xx,xxx down payment in escrow until we close.

You can not change those leases now by compulsion.
