Couple things to note though.Prices have gone up for materials.Timelines are going to take longer due to work and supply chain shortages.

Hello, I am a new here, I am purchasing a triplex with current tenants that has been there for decades, after inspection we found out that the units are not safe to stay with many major issues, roof leaks, subfloor in bathrooms very soft, electrical panels that has been recalled decades ago and many other..... please let me know from your experience what is a shortage time frame I can remove tenants, or if they stay with standard 90 day notice how could I avoid the liability in case something happens. please advise..... thank you

Shortage of housing, rents going up like crazy, prices going up like crazy, many builders backed up for a couple of years.

Do you have the money to cover any shortages should you not be able to get the place rented, if there are unexpected costs, etc. 

And I feel like the higher gross profits from COVID-19 pandemic market pressure shortages are behind us now.

There is still a shortage of housing here in San Antonio, the only problem I think we had was getting the contractors out there during COVID to build/rehab them. 

Employment is incredibly diverse with multiple Fortune 500 companies, and it's got one of the nation's lowest vacancy rates, in addition to a recognized shortage of affordable housing & strong city incentives for section 8 rentals.

It’s amazing how in 2007-2008 people said the same thing on housing shortage and homes were getting built left and right.

While we do have lots of jobs available, the fact that many of the places facing the most labor shortages are due to it not paying a liveable wage.

We also have a shortage of nurses in this area as well, so your girlfriend won’t have any issue finding a position in Charlotte as well.
