Just pull the underlying principles out of each of the books and see where they overlap and where the contradict. if you cant figure out why they contradict then ask an investor (like on the BP forums) To me that is high quality education.

If he doesn't care, then just fence a area on your side that overlaps the gate by 1 foot on each side.

You're absolutely right Deanna, overlaps between property descriptions happen all to frequently, often as a result of different surveyors using different reference points when doing the field work on neighboring properties.

Many items' labor overlaps, so doing the job as a whole allows me to bundle together labor and get a lower cost than if I was called in one day to put up trim, another day to do floors, another day to paint the trim, etc etc.
