OP if you need some of the DR medicine (or the AA medicine, or the cancer treatment, or the cough syrup) is kind of up to you and your personal needs, not up to anyone else.

Again, money is not happiness BUT it the facilitator to all that allows happiness to flourish.Have a sick parent with Alzheimer's or cancer, universe of difference from with or without money. 

My grandpa had his entire left side paralyzed and he still worked 6 days a week up until he could no longer get out of bed from cancer over taking his body.  

My wife died five years ago due to brain cancer.

The owner had terminal cancer and he wanted me pay off the loan on the property that was about $100,000 with no other costs and he was going to give me $45,000 at the close of escrow.

We work together at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan and a fellow colleague who is also interested came along for the ride as well.
