I came from a very pro-labor, anti-capitalist family where "making a profit" or selling something for more then you bought it for was considered taking advantage of one's fellow man, and severely frowned upon.

At a minimum, if the seller or auction company chooses to employ shill bidding, it should alert the other bidders each time a shill bid is entered, so the auction process remains transparent and the auctioneer protects the integrity of the process.While most auctioneers and companies maintain the same anti-shill bidding goals and policies as Hubzu, we understand that some companies engage in shill bidding and use veiled disclosures in their terms and conditions to attempt to exonerate the auction company's shill bidding.

What I'm looking for is any language that might affect who gets the impounds when escrow closes, how things are prorated, or any anti-weasel clauses I might be able add to keep the seller from trying to cancel on me.

Just FYI, I see you're starting out in the forums and you have a good RE background it seems, we are pretty much anti-guru on BP, not just me, but many others as well as management at some point as well.

BP has a strong anti-"guru" vibe, and that's good, if by "guru" we mean someone who will take a lot of your money and provide little you can't learn for free here.
