I borrow dollars from the bank and immediately sell those dollars to owners of commercial income property that I want to own.And then I buy those dollars back over time using the cash our tenants pay us in exchange for using our space.I'm currently shorting $10M and I can't lose regardless of who wins on 11/5By the way, the dollar will always decline in value so this thesis is applicable in any election or economic cycle.Go vote for whoever you feel strongest about, but remember you have infinite more power and that which is within your direct control. 

Do you look for rentals on the westside of town?

Used it to pay cash for a 3/2 town home that will rent for $800/month.  

Oregon Coast is the one were a Tsunami would affect most of the little bergs along the ocean basically wipe out most of the towns and a lot of the ocean front homes.

Looking at lots listed for 15-25k in Texas satellite towns to initially hold then eventually build class A/B duplexes. 

Plenty of renters and although home to a state school the town does not feel seasonal due to the other major employers.

I would have said north carolina before but look at how that storm walloped a couple of towns there.

Hell, my family came to town to visit and I bought furniture and they all stayed there before it was mine :-)

My guess would be if you see a 4-plex with an 8 CAP listed here in Chandler its going to be in the older part of town where ranch hands would live when this was largely a farming community. 

Most of the time, the town will not want you to do it.
